How to use our Sidewinder 

Fit the spring steel terry clip onto your rod, at a position that suits you, which should be around midway up the the rod.

Do not overstress the clip by attempting to put it on the handle or bottom end of the butt section. If you prefer a higher rod position (where the rod blank is thinner) then place a few turns of insulation tape around the rod to provide you with a permanent marker and to give the clip a tight fit.  

The device works best when the worm-eye ring at the end of the tip is situated between two rod rings. The tips fit tightly into the tapered hole in the block. Do not use excessive pressure when placing your selected tip into the bracket. The tip should be facing out to the right and towards your rod tip, with the block seated on the top of your rod.
